Marauders, Assassins, and the Sith Lords

Here are the ranks of the dark siders students, I must share this to all of you in order to see the nature of the Sith and their wicked culture:

Sith Marauders

Sith Marauders (above) were a variant class of the Sith Warriors, specially trained Dark Jedi exceptionally gifted in melee combat. Sith Marauders were fueled by hatred, rage, and cruelty; the Marauders would fill themselves with rage when entering a battle, entering a battle-fury fueled by the dark side. Thus, most Sith Marauders could duel any average Jedi, toe-to-toe, and win easily. Marauders cared little for the subtleties of manipulating others and lacked a deep understanding of the Force.

Sith Marauders reached their climax in strength during the time of Darth Traya, Darth Nihilus, and Darth Sion. Hidden in the Trayus Academy on Malachor V, these warriors were trained in great numbers along with other Dark Jedi trained there. However, most of the Sith Marauders were wiped out, along with Sith Assassins and Masters after the Jedi Exile fought through the academy to confront Darth Traya.

Sith Marauders participated in the Sacking of Coruscant during the Great Galactic War, engaging with many Jedi on the planet.
During the New Sith Wars, the Brotherhood of Darkness trained Marauders in the Honoghr Academy, Gentes Academy, and Gamorr Academy.

Sith Assassins

The Sith assassins were a sect of covert Force-sensitive killers secretly founded by Darth Revan on Malachor V during the Mandalorian Wars. Captured Jedi and Sith soldiers who were found to be Force-sensitive were taken to the Trayus Academy to be trained as Sith assassins.
The Sith assassins were unique because they preferred to ambush their intended prey from the shadows rather than engaging them in open combat. Almost always working solo or in small groups, they utilized stealth field generators and the rare art of Force camouflage to aid their surprise attacks. While some elite assassins fought with lightsabers, the majority utilized less remarkable melee weapons, such as force pikes. These stealth warriors were also unusual in that they drew their power from the Force presence of their prey. The stronger their targets were in the Force, the stronger the hunters became.

During and after the Jedi Civil War, the assassins' primary purpose was to kill or capture Jedi. Upon successfully incapacitating a Jedi, the captive would be tortured until they fell to the dark side or died by the hands of elite Sith operatives trained in the art of torture and temptation, such as Atton Rand. By this subtle method of capture and conversion, the ranks of the Sith assassins swelled as the number of Jedi decreased.

The Sith Assassins reached their zenith under the leadership of Darth Traya, Darth Sion, and Darth Nihilus following the almost complete annihilation of the Sith Empire's Dark Jedi during the Sith Civil War. Based within the hidden Trayus Academy on Malachor V, the Sith Lords commanded legions of Assassins to hunt down the remaining Jedi throughout the galaxy. Their efforts proved quite successful as they very nearly caused the complete extermination of the Jedi Order.
During the
New Sith Wars, the Brotherhood of Darkness trained Sith assassins in the Ryloth Academy, Umbara Academy, and Nar Shaddaa Academy. At least eight of the Umbaran Sith assassins survived the New Sith Wars, and joined Hetton's Anti-Republic Liberation Front. However, they were all killed by Darth Bane during a duel when they were brought to Ambria by Darth Zannah. The One Sith incorporated an agency called Sith Intelligence and Assassination.

Sith Lord

was a title that was conferred on a powerful master of Sith knowledge. Yet, the title seemed to be used somewhat ambiguously to refer to various things, including all Sith, the Dark Lords of the Sith, Sith Masters in Darth Bane's reformed order, or as a rank akin to that of the Jedi Knight for the Jedi Order. Several Sith Lords also held the Darth title. The term "Sith Lord" generally encompassed members of both male and female, although some female Sith, such as Lumiya, were styled Sith Lady.

Originally, "Sith Lord" referred to a high-ranking member of the Sith race's society. As the Sith civilization progressed, many claimed the title and battled against each other to earn the title of Sith'ari: the Sith Overlord.

Here are the 3 samples of the Sith Lords.

#1 Exar Kun a leader in The Brotherhood of the Sith.

#2 Darth Phobos (below) was a female Theelin Sith Lord, who lived eons before the outbreak of the galaxy-spanning Clone Wars. She was later killed by Darth Vader's secret apprentice Starkiller.

#3 Darth Ruin, born as Phanius, was an Umbaran Dark Lord of the Sith who lived over twenty centuries before the Battle of Yavin. Though he was an unnamed Jedi Knight, but of his fall to the dark side, he became the part of the Lost Twenty. I will post another article about the Lost Twenty soon.

Signing off...
